Hi, I’m Megan!
I provide child-led, connection-based speech therapy for young children right here in Salt Lake City.
I’m the founder of Blacksmith Pediatric Speech Therapy and a licensed speech-language pathologist in Salt Lake City.
I started this practice to provide relationship-based speech therapy for toddlers and preschoolers, with a focus on late talkers, AAC, autism, and gestalt language development.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, practical, and rooted in parent partnership. I’ve supported young children across private practice, state early intervention, schools, and teletherapy—But what I care most about is creating a space where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. When I’m not in sessions, I’m usually chasing my two boys, skateboarding, or watching scary movies!
My approach is realistic, relationship-based, and built to fit your family’s real day-to-day. I’m here to help, not overwhelm.
As a pediatric speech-language pathologist in Salt Lake City—and a mom of two—I know how full and messy life can feel. Becoming a parent gave me a deeper understanding of the daily demands caregivers face and shaped the way I support families navigating communication delays and developmental differences. Here, speech therapy is grounded in trust, flexibility, and connection—so you and your child feel supported every step of the way.
